XenoHelix, a nucleic acid isolation and purification platform technology company, announced on August 28, 2026, that it has secured a total of KRW 4.5 billion in Series B funding.

XenoHelix has been advancing its proprietary foundational technology specialized in miRNA (microRNA). With this latest investment, the company plans to accelerate the commercialization of its skincare and precision diagnostics sectors.

The company developed an ultra-low-molecular-weight PDRN for skincare applications that maximizes cellular permeability by utilizing miPDRN (micro-polydeoxyribonucleotide).

In addition, XenoHelix is preparing pipelines for precision diagnostic medical devices. Based on its proprietary technology, the company has successfully completed clinical trials for a Parkinson's disease diagnostic tool and is currently preparing for product approval. In the field of fatty liver diagnosis, the company has entered the second phase of a national project and is preparing for upcoming clinical trials.

An official from S Ventures, which led the investment, explained the rationale behind the funding: "XenoHelix is a promising company that possesses both the technical reliability of precision diagnostics and the commercial viability of a bio-material-based cosmetics business. We expect the company to achieve rapid growth in the global beauty and medical care markets, leveraging this Series B investment."

"We are delighted to successfully close this Series B round, recognizing our technological prowess and future growth value even amid a slowdown in investment sentiment within the biotech industry," said Sung-wook Yang, CEO of XenoHelix. "With the secured funds, we will fully commercialize our high-performance skincare business based on miPDRN and natural exosomes. We will also accelerate achievements in the precision diagnostic medical device sector, which is ahead of product approval, to meet the expectations of our shareholders and the market."
