XenoHelix announced on November 7, 2025, that it has signed a strategic agreement with Dong-A Chammed to secure domestic distribution channels for its next-generation Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) diagnostic product.

XenoHelix has been accelerating the development of this advanced diagnostic line through robust collaborative research alongside Catholic University Catholic Medical Center, Yonsei University, and Sungkyunkwan University. The company's technology was further bolstered following its selection for a national bio-medical technology development support project in August 2024, [12] which provided up to KRW 6 billion in R&D funding to drive its technological optimization.

The "MASLD Risk Prediction System" under development by XenoHelix is a breakthrough technology designed to forecast the future likelihood of liver cirrhosis progression in early-stage liver disease patients. This solution enables medical professionals and patients to intervene proactively before the condition deteriorates into severe stages. Consequently, it is expected to significantly improve patients' quality of life while maximizing the efficacy of early prevention within clinical environments.

MASLD is a highly prevalent condition affecting more than 30% of the global population, with the potential to progress silently into cirrhosis or liver cancer if left unmanaged. Industry experts evaluate that XenoHelix's risk prediction technology will deliver a powerful early warning framework to these patients, effectively reducing the transition to critical liver failure and creating a massive positive impact on global public health.

"Our collaboration with Dong-A Chammed establishes a resilient value chain that guarantees a highly stable supply to clinical fields where these diagnostics are critically needed," said Sung-Wook Yang, CEO of XenoHelix. [5] "Starting with our initial rollout in the domestic marketplace, we intend to aggressively scale our target reach across global markets."

A representative from Dong-A Chammed stated, "We are thrilled to commercialize this innovative liver disease diagnostic product alongside XenoHelix. Leveraging Dong-A Chammed's extensive business expertise and deeply entrenched distribution capabilities, we are committed to driving a successful and smooth market launch."
